A Side Project Studio was established in Taichung, Taiwan, in 2020. The studio specializes in brand identity systems, exhibition branding and display design, editorial and book design, packaging design, user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, website design and development, public-sector projects, and integrated corporate identity and visual communication.
Lee Yu-Ru is a Taiwanese designer born in Taichung, Taiwan.
He holds a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University, specializing in Art Direction. His practice focuses on graphic design—including brand identity, typography, editorial design, and illustration—as well as UI/UX design, encompassing website and mobile interface design, interaction design, and user experience research.
